| This is what the my life feels like right now: "Cosmic
irony is a sharp incongruity between our expectation of an outcome and
what actually occurs, as if the universe were mocking us." See things have been changing alot at work and the project that I had worked on for the last 11 months was pretty much all a waste because the client that is was for decided to drop us as a software vendor. Great. So after feeling pretty good about myself for developing some clever solutions and writing all this crap for a big strategic client... nothing. This happened a week before Thanksgiving. So the three days that week I didn't have much to do so I got to play around and mess with some pet projects which was a nice change from the high stress/high demand project that i was on. Then I got to work on another project for 2 weeks that had some serious promise to solving some of the day to day frustrations that my team deals with. Yesterday we find out that "we are going in a different direction..." Great. So i'm holding for the next thing coming, but it sure is hard to stay motivated and needless to say i'm getting restless.
But in less whiney news... we are in our house and are absolutley loving it! God truely has been good to us. We got our Christmas tree last weekend and it has a room of its own .
